Sorting Starts on the Truck
Before anything leaves your property, our crew is already sorting: furniture and appliances in good shape are set aside for donation, metal and electronics go to recycling partners, and yard waste is separated for composting or green waste processing.
Donation First
Usable furniture, working appliances, and household goods are routed to local charities and thrift organizations around Grass Valley and Nevada City whenever condition allows. It’s a small way we keep good items in the community instead of in the ground.
Recycling Second
Metal, e-waste, wood, and cardboard are broken out and taken to the appropriate recycling facilities rather than tossed in with general waste.
Landfill Last
Only items that genuinely can’t be donated or recycled — think broken, contaminated, or unsalvageable debris — make the trip to the landfill.
