Marley At The Beach

Summer is HERE!! How did you all do in that heat wave?!?!

Personally I heard how hot it was going to be and suggested to Ben we skip town and head to Casa De McPherson in Santa Cruz and hit the beach. He thought I had a great idea. When I suggested he eat the seaweed and chew sticks on the beach with me, he didn’t think it was such a good one. Go figure…

It left more for me to rip up though.

I also thought that it was a good idea to do more days of junk removal because our awesome customers kept asking for it and sometimes there’s really fun smells involved.

I was a little sad to come home but we had people to see, work to do and I had to come home and check on my cats and tell them about all the fun I’d had. Plus I had to check on my O buddy (Onyx) because this rude cat came into our house and tried to eat his food and beat him up!!! We delayed our trip a day to make sure he was ok, somehow I slept through the hullabaloo but that doesn’t mean he’s not one of my favorite cats.

(He’s pretty OK by the way, just a bit insulted and ruffled from the rude Tomcat.)

Marley’s Big Day

Last week I thought we were going somewhere super fun since all my humans were with me, but it turned out I was just going to the vet for a check up…

We did stop and play in the American River before we came home again so that made my day! I was trying to bring a giant rock home for delivery, but decided it was too hard to carry up the hill so I just pushed it around for a while.

This unseasonably cool weather and the fall color that’s starting to show around town is making me realize that fall is just around the corner. I don’t think I’m quite ready for rain yet. It tickles me and I don’t like going out in it. I do really like puddles sometimes though. Do you have any puddles in your driveway when it rains?
