Bulk delivery of 10-cubic yards (dump truck load) Recology OMRI-Listed Organic Compost made from recycled green waste is now available in central Grass Valley and nearby.
- Compost is sometimes “hot” due to environmental conditions and may need be aged on-site or blended into soil to cool before planting.
- Ask for current status before ordering if you plan to use it immediately.
- Because this compost is made from recycled municipal vegetable and greenwaste it may contain random debris not screened out during the recycling and composting process (such as lollipop sticks, 1/4” bits of plastic or glass, etc.)
- Not for everyone, but if you are into recycling and saving money this may be a good way to boost soil productivity!

Zap Haul Dump-Truck Delivery Policy
- Bulk mulch, topsoil, gravel, and other bulk materials are delivered by dump truck
- The dump location must be level with 14’ of overhead clearance to raise the dump bed and unload
- Trucks need a minimum 10 feet of width to pass through gates
- Please make sure all cars and other objects are out of the driveway of dump area before expected delivery time
- No deliveries are made to properties with locked gates unless a key or combination has been provided in advance or unless customer is ready to open the gate when we arrive
- Maximum “holding” waiting time is 15-minutes, after which additional “holding” time is charged
- Our trucks do not leave a paved or firmly packed gravel surface unless driver agrees and customer signs waiver
- We dump all materials on the driveway or off the edge of the driveway
- Full payment for orders that are deemed undeliverable by the driver are due at time of attempted delivery
- No discount or refund is given for refused or undeliverable order
- Customer is responsible to provide and install any protection to the customer’s property needed to make delivery safe for landscaping and adjacent features
- Zap Haul reserves the right to cancel delivery at any time, including at the delivery site, if we determine there is no opportunity to complete the delivery safely or to a location specified by the customer which is deemed undeliverable in the sole discretion of the driver
- Zap Haul is not responsible for any or all damage done to a customer’s property, including driveways, parking areas, landscape features, etc. due to the delivery of bulk materials the customer has ordered
- Any bulk product that has been over ordered will NOT be picked up or reimbursed once it has been delivered
- Any and all claims must be made within 24 hours of pick up or delivery, and before product is spread or landscaped
